Work & Travel
Passport holders of Luxembourg have to apply at the Australian Embassy Germany - Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) in Berlin.
Generally, they are required to provide the following documents alongside their application form. It is strongly suggested that applicants submit all the documents with their application:
- letter of government support;
- evidence of meeting education requirement;
- evidence in functional English;
- evidence of sufficient funds;
- passport copy;
- passport photo;
Since the 16th of November 2018, the applicant must lodge his Work and Travel application online trough the Department of Home Affairs' website www.homeaffairs.gov.au.
Paper applications will no longer be accepted.
You can find all the details about how to apply on the Home Affairs website, as well as on the Embassy website at http://germany.embassy.gov.au/beln/Visas_and_Migration.html, and on social media.
This change only relates to the method of lodging the visa application, so all visa requirements and eligibility criteria established under the MOU with Luxembourg will remain unchanged.
The website of the Australian Embassy Germany delivers complete information on the application process.
Once the application is received, the DIBP will deal directly with the applicant.
